NDB | RBT9300

The RBT9300 NDB was developed to meet the needs of the aeronautical industry for approach assistance to landing procedures. The RBT9300 set is associated with the "Umbrella" or “Whip” antenna. With the RBT9300, the output power is adjustable up to 100 W carrier.

Constitution of the equipment

The RBT9300 equipment is composed of :

• 2 transmitters EBT9300,
• 1 automatic switching unit BRB9300,
• 1 FLATPACK 2 rectifier,
• 18 U or 33 U rack designed to receive the equipment above.

NDB | RBT9300MS

The transportable, waterproof cabinet, 50W RBT9300MS NDB meets the requirements of temporary and fast installation, on any civil or military field operations.

Constitution of the equipment

Waterproof 7U cabinet RBT9300MS containing :

• a 50W A1/A2 transmitter EBT9300MS-24,
• a programmer PGM9200MS,
• a 24 V/75 A rectifier FLATPACK 2,
• a battery assembly BAT24 V/7 AH,
• a 50 ohms load CHF9300MS,
• a VHF remote control TLC9200 (option).

Waterproof 12U cabinet DAA9400MF containing :

an automatic tuning device DAA9400IMF

RF antenna bag containing :

• two U supports,
• a 8 m whip antenna in 8 parts,
• an insulator,
• a set of 3 guys.

Ground system bag containing :

• a ground plane made up of 6 conductors on reels,
• installation accessories (stakes, hammer).

NDB | RBT9300P

The RBT9300P NDB is designed to equip offshore platforms. Associated with the “Whip” or “Long wire” antenna, its transmitting range is around 200km (108 NM).

Installation of the RBT9300P NDB

Rack of 42 U, designed to accommodate the following :

• two transmitters EBT9300P, adjustable up to 100W NON/ A1A - NON A2A
• one automatic switching unit BRB9300P, compliant with I.C.A.O. requirements
• one ON/OFF control AMD9300P
• one AC/DC rectifier

NOTE: If the installation in a radio room is impossible, the NDB may be installed in a waterproof cabinet, close to the antenna.

Telemonitoring :

The switching unit has an interface series type RS232 for telemonitoring. The telemonitoring system is optional and permits to transmit the following information :

• programming parameters,
• d.c. supply voltage,
• direct power,
• reflected power,
• transmitter On,
• NDB alarm information,
• emergency stop information.

Allows to set into service or stop the NDB.
